Vbox 在CentOS 的安装 III

原文中提到应该是系统的启动方式问题，查看了一下
vim /boot/grub/grub.conf
  server 是CentOS (2.6.18-348.3.1.el5xen)
好吧！修改一下默认启动的系统，重启再次运行就ok了
原文中说PEA方式，这个也不是，应该是可以的查了一下testlink的配额也不是PEA的，直接为kernel的。

4-1 安装dkms no

  110 just setup ok，
  #uname -a
  Linux xxx 2.6.18-348.3.1.el5xen #1 SMP Mon Mar 11 20:28:48 EDT 2013 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
  本以为这此Kernel 2.6 可以直接安装Vbox了，但是setup就提示:
  

  Stopping VirtualBox kernel module                          [  OK  ]
  Recompiling VirtualBox kernel module                       [FAILED]
    (Look at /var/log/vbox-install.log to find out what went wrong)

  
  开始以为是dkms没有安装呢，so
  #yum install yum
  但却提示“No package dkms available.”
  go了一下，发现 还是看一下/var/log/vbox-install.log 吧！
  “Makefile:181: *** Error: unable to find the sources of your current Linux kernel. Specify KERN_DIR= and run Make again。 停止。”

  应该是这个，回去看看上次在testlinke 上 稀里糊涂的setup ok的setp中就有
  yum install dkms kernel-PAE-devel qt qt-xll gcc
  
  这个PAE上次在高配置的win7上因为没有选择就报错很久

是在window7 64位上 vbox 4.1.4 安装32bit 的unbantu 提示“unable to boot-please use a kernel appropriate for your CPU”

勾选了 Enable PAE in your VM settings.

在VirtualBox4.2.4上，启动安装CentOS-6.3时报错：

产生原因：没有配置支持PAE/NX扩展特性

解决方法：在VirtualBox界面上，选中虚拟机，打开设置 -> 系统 -> 处理器，在“扩展特性”选项处，勾选“启用PAE/NX”即可。

关于PAE/NX

• PAE：物理地址扩展（Physical Address Extension），PAE 支持 32位处理器可以访问 4GB 以上物理内存，是否支持PAE是由CPU决定的。如果你的CPU不支持PAE功能，又想安装高版本的Linux，那就要把超过3.2GB的内存取下来。安装Linux时，系统就不会使用PAE了。
• NX：No eXecute位，NX 可让处理器帮助保护电脑免受恶意软件的攻击，并且PAE是 NX 的先决条件。

附注：Win8的安装是要CPU必须支持PAE/NX的，否则无法安装，具体参见：http://windows.microsoft.com/zh-CN/windows-8/what-is-pae-nx-sse2
